PPMV Pulsed Pump Vector Magnetometer

PPMV is a unique atomic magnetometer that is capable of exceptional vector field sensitivity and accuracy. The system uses a pulsed pump total field mangetometer and a vector coil to vectorize the total field measurements.

Performance


Operation
Plug it in, and wait for the sensor to warm up. The status light blinks according to the sensor status:

| 1 | Red/White | Cell heating |
| 2 | Yellow/Red | Pump locking |
| 3 | Purple/Red | Probe locking |
| 4 | Blue/White | Lasers locked; no signal |

The status code is also reported as the status byte in the data stream.
