SYNC3-TTS Synchronization Hub
This compact board synchronizes up to three sensors in space-constrained systems. It has a high precision oscillator to distribute to connected sensors, which can be synchronized to an external timebase using a pulse-per-second signal input.
This item is intended only for use by system integrators and applications where minimum system size and weight are critical. Permanent damage to sensors can occur if the cables are connected or disconnected while powered.
Features
- Synchronize 3 sensors via TTS ports.
- ±200 ppb master oscillator stability over temperature range
- Discipline master oscillator with PPS input (from GPS)
- MEMS gyroscope and accelerometer
- Barometric pressure sensor
- Temperature sensor
- Operating temperature: −20 °C – +70 °C
- Volume: 12×57×6 mm³
- Power consumption: 500 mW
- Mass: 100 g
Interface
The host connects to an 8-pin connector:
JST SM08B-SHL
Pin | Signal |
---|---|
1 | +13–58V |
2 | +13–58V |
3 | Ground |
4 | Ground |
5 | Serial input |
6 | Serial output |
7 | PPS input |
8 | Ground |
All digital signals are 3.3V TTL signaling and run directly to a microcontroller without additional protection.
Only one power and ground pair (pins 1 and 3) must be connected; however, note that there is a limit of 0.5 A power per contact.
Two M2 mounting holes are spaced 50 mm apart.
